Ever since the first time I read this poem, I knew that it was me. It was my first pick for this assignment, and I am glad I stuck with it.
We had to make two using only type, then one using other graphics

The assignment was to write a six word story, then tell the story visually in six frames plus a title page which has the essence of the entire story in the one frame. Here is Trees are strong; steel is stronger.
I made an attempt to show the importance of each. Hearing to be able to listen to the words, thoughts, and ideas of others especially those who made a difference by speaking. Sight to be able to understand clearly, a “seeing is believing” kind of thing. For smell, I thought it might be funny to show an unexpected scent in an unlikely place. Smell is the primary sense for triggering memories, and if this sense is off then I believe there would be an interesting impact. For taste, I wanted to show the class my personal stance on American obesity. I believe that as we are shoving these processed, unnatural foods into our bodies will only result in death for us, so I made an American junk food monster attacking the little American fatties. I actually didn’t have a developed concept for touch, but I used a nice clipping path for the type and had a hand extended toward the different textures.
immensely.
